ON-CAMERA TALENT  /  EMCEE

Christie has been involved in production and media in a number of ways throughout the past 14 years. She has her own business ("Creative Media Gal"), utilizing my broad range of experience including but not limited to producing, editing, scripting, and shooting a variety of video project needs. Previously, she has worked with the Walt Disney Company, City of Tempe and Mesa, MLB Arizona Diamondbacks, KPHO-Five Investigative team, the Department of the Interior and the Salt River Project (SRP); one of the nation's largest utility companies. Christie is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism – with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Christie has gained experience in the theatrical world as a director, producer, emcee, performer, choreographer, dancer and aerial artist. As an emcee, she has helped host live events with Standing in the Gap (SIG) Foundation’s Benefit Banquet, SIG Kari Jobe Fundraiser Concert, the Miss Yavapai Pageant (a local preliminary competition through the Miss America Organization) and the Miss Coolidge pageant. Her emcee and hosting work also includes scripting and overall production needs (such as benefit-driven videos).

She is now a free agent, but was previously signed with Leighton Agency, a full service talent and modeling agency that provides local and national brands for the past 30 years. As a scene prouder and choreographer, she worked with dancers and performers as young as 5, all the way through adulthood. For over 20 years, Christie was involved in one of the largest Christmas Production in Arizona which serves over 50,000 audience members over a two-week period).  From 2018-19, Christie directed and oversaw all aspects of production for an Easter production called, “The Story,” in Anthem, Arizona. As a dancer, Christie grew up learning ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop, and throughout college socially danced all styles of ballroom/latin/swing.

Christie was also a 2012 titleholder within the Miss America Organization, where she was awarded as a top-ten semi finalist at the Miss Arizona pageant, a preliminary competition for Miss America. She has volunteered since then in multiple pageant systems as a judge’s chair, emcee and mock interviewer. Christie provides coaching to both Arizona and across the nation competitors, as well as titleholder, “Legacy” videos and pageant headshots through her professional videography and photography skills.

Live Stage Events

Whether it is hosting a non-profit fundraising banquet or a live stage event, my goal is to passionately involve the audience by either raising the funds for the organization, or making the audience feel included in the stage production through laughter, insight or entertainment – being sensitive to the event's atmosphere and audience participants.

On-Camera, Emcee and Host, Competitions

My goal as an on-camera host is to connect with my viewers in a creative and unique way. I try to personalize my stories, and I have an understanding of bringing appropriate characteristics to the camera based on the audience.
